Jacqueline Valmont is a Los Angeles native and a graduate of Scripps College in Claremont, CA and received her dance degree and dance teacher certification from Santa Monica College. Jackie has danced for several LA based choreographers such as Roberta Wolin-Tupas and Chester A. Witmore and is a modern dance company member of Diana Cummins’, ManGo Dance Theater and Grete Gryzwana’s, Epiphany Dance, since 2014. She has performed as a soloist at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels, Biola University, Fuller Seminary and Miles Playhouse.
Jackie is extremely passionate about dance education and exposing children and young adults to the world of dance, and enriching all aspects of their lives with creativity, imagination, and beauty. She feels fortunate to have continued her classical ballet training with Mario Nugara where the pedagogy of proper body alignment and movement was demystified. His teaching method continues to inspire her to teach with clarity and proper form and she is delighted to have joined the dance faculty at City of Angels Ballet.
Jackie is also a regularly booked classical vocalist for special occasions.
In 2010, Susan became a City of Angels Ballet faculty member and company member.
Zippora Karz is a former soloist with the New York City Ballet where she performed for 16 years on stage and in televised performances.
