The City of Angels Ballet understands that teaching the relationship between dance and music is a crucial part of an education in classical ballet. The use of music in dance is one of the elements that take ballet beyond a physical exercise and into an art form. The City of Angels Ballet is proud to offer it’s students live accompaniment in every City of Angels Ballet class.

Matthew holds both a BM in Piano Performance under professor Alvin Chow and a BA in Creative Writing. Having trained as a dance accompanist at Hyde Park School of Dance in Chicago.
